FAQs
Is the Asyra AT3 age-dependent?
Any age can be tested—from young babies to the elderly. Asyra testing is non-invasive and painless
What happens at an Asyra screening and how does it work?
Health screening with the Asyra PRO simply involves sitting in a chair and holding two small brass bars connected to both the diagnostic machine and a computer. The Asyra then uses a process called bio-feedback to test and record the body’s energetic response to various substances. There is no waiting for results and a printed report will be given to you to take away.
What is biofeedback?
We all respond to our environments in various ways. If you see, taste or hear something you really like, you will think good thoughts and your body will physically respond by relaxing, producing saliva etc. If, however, you experience something undesirable you will respond very differently; tension, shallow breathing, thoughts of how to avoid it, etc. Bio-feedback is the body’s own electrical process of monitoring how your body responds to various stimuli. The Asyra screening simply passes different stimuli through the body and records how it responds.
Is the Asyra scientifically proven?
The original concepts of Electro Dermal Screening (EDS), which is the principle behind the Asyra Pro, were developed in the 1950s by Dr Voll. Since then numerous technical studies, tests and research papers have been produced, verifying the effectiveness of the process. The Asyra Pro System is also registered with the Federal Drug Administration in America, the first such system to have both its hardware and software approved, and is used by many health practitioners around the world. In one study a 97% correlation was found with blood tests for thyroid dysfunction. Details of research studies and the history of the Asyra can be found at www.asyra.co.uk.
What do the Asyra results tell me?
The results give you a clear snapshot of how your body is functioning at the time of the test, and any areas of weakness or stress. Depending on the specific tests carried out, the results may give indications of any nutrient deficiencies, hormone or neurotransmitter imbalances, any toxins present, any viral, bacterial, fungal or parasite signatures picked up, and also any food, chemical or environmental sensitivities. We will explain the results to you and the suggested treatment so that you have a clear picture of your current health status and what needs to be done to improve it.

How long does the full consultation and Asyra test take?
Depends on which package you have signed up for. The Asyra screening itself is very quick, but you should allow for about 45mins for your first consultation. This allows time for an initial consultation where a thorough case history will be taken so that you can inform us of any health problems or concerns you have. Time will also be needed after the test to interpret the results and explain the findings to you, to run any further tests if required and to discuss recommended treatment with you.
How much does it cost?
Cost varies – please see our Fees page for more details. The most popular package is the standard package which includes the consultation, any asyra tests run and a personalised treatment plan. The price also includes support between appointments, via email or phone, if needed. Prices do not include any indicated remedies or supplements. However, if these are indicated, we can provide these for you at a discount.
Why do you use supplements?
Supplements are not a substitute for a healthy diet. However, even with a good diet, it can be difficult to obtain all the nutrients you need as the quality and nutrient content of our food is not what it used to be due to intensive farming, consuming food flown in from the other side of the world, and eating foods out of season. We only ever use what we believe are the best quality supplements available and what we believe is absolutely necessary.
What do I do if I need to cancel?
Plans do change sometimes so we understand if you may need to reschedule your appointment. However, appointments are subject to a 50% cancellation charge with less than 24 hours notice and 100% cancellation charge if notification is on the day of the appointment.
